Meeting Minutes 12/07/10

Tonight's was the last Classics Society meeting of the semester. Here's what was covered:

I. Shirts: The order is in, and we ought to have them before break. Shirt pick-up details will be determined.

II. Next semester's events: Musical performance by Joe, the Odyssey singer. The lecture by U-Chicago's Professor Rudall may be rescheduled due to a conflict with a Classics Conference.
There is also potential for a second lecture by Prof. Vincent Tomasso, about the "300" story-- this could be a short lecture and movie night event.
Other ideas for the spring include ice skating at the Shell, game nights, movie outing to see "The Eagle," etc.

III. Thanks again to everyone who participated in Saturnalia; it was a great event!
Harrius Figulus et Lapis Philosophi is now a youtube sensation! (Except not really.) See it again, and/or share it with friends and family, Latin students, Harry Potter fans, etc.

Best wishes to all on finals, and have a wonderful winter break!
